Removing oxygen dissolved in water is of great significance in preventing corrosion of boilers or other water consuming equipment and ensuring their safe and economical operation. 3、 Sponge iron deaerator equipment--

7. Water containing oxygen passes through a sponge iron filter material, which is mainly composed of iron. The porous internal structure of the filter material has a huge specific surface area, which can cause the oxygen in the water to undergo oxidation reaction with iron, thereby maintaining the dissolved oxygen content in the effluent stable below 0.05mg/L. The reaction formula is:

Fe (OH) 2 is adsorbed on sponge iron particles, but it is unstable in oxygen-containing water and will be oxidized into a compound of tri iron. The reaction formula is:

The reaction product Fe (OH) 3 is a brown red flocculent precipitate insoluble in water, which is intercepted by sponge iron particles. When it accumulates to a certain extent, it can be washed clean with a certain amount of backwash water, and the sponge iron deaerator returns to its initial deoxygenation capacity.


At the filter layer, due to the low concentration of water oxygen, there is naturally a small amount of Fe2+in equilibrium with Fe (OH) 3, which can be removed by sodium type strong acid cation resin. The exchange reaction is:


Fe2++2RNa → R2Fe+2Na+


After resin loss, a dilute solution of NaCl (salt)+Na2SO3 can be used for regeneration (Na2SO3 solidly combines with 1-2% of the total capacity of NaCl). The purpose of adding Na2SO3 is to regenerate the resin, with a long service life.


4、 Control principle of fully automatic deaerator


The fully automatic deaerator system mainly consists of a control diaphragm valve (hydraulic or pneumatic), a JMA valve controller, and a deaerator tank. The controller provides opening and closing instructions to each controllable diaphragm valve according to the pre-set program to complete the opening and closing of each path, thereby realizing the various process processes of operation, backwashing, and washing- The JMA valve controller for control consists of a signal distributor and a time controller, fixed inside the controller housing.
